Michelle Phillips, Executive Director
Michelle has been the Executive Director for the Foundation since March 2006. She has over 29+ years’ experience in nonprofits. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Bachelor of Science in Hotel/Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University. She’s been a presenter at a peace conference sponsored by the MPH Sheila Samson Center of Light for 23 countries in Eilat, Israel 2007. She assisted with the center to establish a ‘peace garden’ in Tel Aviv, Israel. Additionally, she has worked with the Center for International Cooperation, an NGO of the United Nations in which she administered courses in prisons and schools helping those find their true purpose in life in service to their communities emphasizing ‘kindness and respect for all life’
. She holds a lifetime teaching certificate for Pima Community College having articulated training for law enforcement, EMT, fire science and corrections. She is passionate in serving the I-19 corridor of diverse communities, but her heart is with Earth and is most at home on the beach.
